Tech Boot Camp Overview The Tech Boot Camp is a multi-day event designed to give teachers hands-on opportunities to learn essential technical theater skills in sound, lighting, and scenic construction. The goal is for teachers to evaluate their space and know basic tools to feel confident teaching technical theatre to begin to break the stigma of “I’m not a tech person”. While aligning on what tech should look like in our classrooms across Colorado. Registration Deadline: April 15th or when at Capacity Curriculum The curriculum includes lighting, sound, and basic scenic work with a focus on how to teach technical skills, not just how to perform them. The bootcamp includes safety and liability guidelines. There will be resources and templates made available for download. Registration Information Space is limited, and registration will be confirmed on a first come first served basis. The registration cost for the total event is $300, cost does not include lunch each day.
