Host Hotel Information

Hotel reservations for conference attendees will occur through Colorado Thespians

Please note: that all of our hotel properties have other guests not associated with our conference. If students are disrespectful or loud, individual schools can be charged for the refunded amount extended to the disgruntled guest. Denver curfew is strict and students should be careful not to leave the hotel property late at night. The ThesCon schedule is made to accommodate the Denver curfew hours. Pools and Health Clubs at all hotel properties are off limits to students.

Hyatt Regency Hotel

Once again, Colorado Thespians has negotiated a special hotel rate with the Hyatt Regency Convention Center as our host hotel for ThesCon.

Location

Located at 650 15th Street, the Hyatt is the closest hotel to the Colorado Convention Center, just steps away from door to door.

Dining

The Hyatt Regency has a full service restaurant and a lobby coffee shop. Feel free to contact them for dinner arrangements for your group and special pricing. 

Guest rooms have coffee makers, mini-fridges and a public microwave is available. 

The Hyatt Regency is located across the street from the convention center.

Security

Besides the hotel security and the chaperones from each school, Colorado Thespians utilizes the Denver Police in and around the hotel property in the evening after events conclude. Colorado Thespians does not accept responsibility for your students. Colorado Thespians will notify the Denver Police Department and hotel security to handle all violations.

Troupe hotel reservations will occur through your troupe director account and take place at the same time as conference registration. Rooms will be assigned to schools and individuals on a first come, first served basis.

There is a one week window for room changes and deletions. Information on the change window will be sent to the troupe director’s account.

Schools electing not to reserve rooms through Colorado Thespians may be assessed an additional security fee.

*Security is also on property at the Colorado Convention Center, along with the Denver Fire Department and paramedics. Students are only allowed access to events by displaying their Colorado Thespian name badge. Badges must be worn at all times and during all events. Parents who wish to attend must purchase a day pass or an evening performance pass in the conference registration room. Day passes and evening performance passes are $50/day regardless of the amount of time a parent stays on property. No individual under the age of twelve (or enrolled in sixth grade) can attend ThesCon as an attendee or a guest.
