Dr. Jay Seller is the President for Arts for Colorado and Colorado Citizens for Culture. Currently, Dr. Seller works in the nonprofit administration sector, both as a consultant for nonprofits and an executive director. He is the Operations Director for Colorado Thespians and deals with their contracts and accounting. Dr. Seller comes to his current roles in administration and public policy, after numerous years of service as a nonprofit arts administrator, fine arts coordinator, and theatre educator. Dr. Seller is the recipient of the Joseph Moore Award for Dedication to the Profession/Lesley University, Making a Difference Award/Walden University, Educational Theatre Association Hall of Fame, Colorado State Thespians Hall of Fame, and USA Today All-Star Educator. Dr. Jay Seller is the developer of three educational apps available in the app market place for quantitative support within the arts classroom supporting teacher effectiveness. His name appears on several academic publications and he is a well-known public speaker, who maintains several teacher resource web sites. Dr. Seller is recognized as a Change Leader in Colorado by the Colorado Creative Industries and the Office of Economic Development. As Colorado State Captain for Americans for the Arts and a member of the State Arts Agency Network, Dr. Seller regularly lobbies for the Colorado arts communities ensuring transformational changes in both funding and legislation.
