Beau Augustin is the Dance and Drama Theater Arts Instructional Curriculum Specialist for Denver Public Schools where he supports and coaches teachers and collaborates in orchestrating student opportunities like the DPS Shakespeare Festival. In addition to serving arts teachers within Denver Public Schools, Beau also serves the theatre education community through his work with the Colorado State Thespians Board. Beau holds a Bachelors in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Masters in Directing from the Chicago Conservatory of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. Recently, he chaired the 2018 and 2022 Colorado Drama and Theatre Arts Academic Standards revision. Beau regularly performs with EPiC (evergreen players improv comedy) in Evergreen, CO.
