Tami is honored to serve as the Executive Director/Chapter Director for Colorado Thespians. Tami was in the classroom for 20 years before transitioning to full time with Colorado Thespians. In 2023 she was named Colorado Teacher of the Year by the Italian American Business Association. She directs in various places throughout the metro area including the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. Tami is passionate about storytelling in many forms including stage, fiction writing, and spoken word poetry. In 2023, 2017, and 2014 she was humbled and honored to be recognized for Outstanding Direction of a Musical from the Denver Center Bobby G Awards Program. Tami received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master’s Degree from the University of Colorado, Denver, and is certified in Performing Arts Industry Essentials from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. When not telling stories, she enjoys travelling with her husband and two grown sons and eating Italian food. She is continually inspired and motivated by her talented colleagues who share with students the magic and power of theatre.
