What
A weekend filled with active theatre workshops designed especially for high school students. Students and chaperones self select events to attend during the nine workshop and Individual Event/Thespys sessions (pre-registration is required for IE performance opportunities – additional fees apply). High School Theatre in Colorado supports the fifth largest economic industry in the state, the creative sector.
WHO
All public, private, and charter high schools in Colorado and Utah are invited to attend. We encourage new schools to join us and share the excitement of high school theatre. Schools do not need to have an official Thespian troupe to attend.
Currently, homeschooled students can attend if they work with a local school and attend as a part of their troupe. No individual attendance registration is available.
Cost for Student Participants:
$130 per high school student
$25 per Thespy (limit two per high school student)
$30 per chaperone
Troupe Director is free
$25 late fee for individuals registered between November 10 and November 20 (late registration ends November 20)
Hotels range from $159/night – $219/night, quad occupancy, and can be made by troupe directors when registering for conference
How To Register
Students must be registered by their school director or educator. Students cannot attend as individuals with parent or adult chaperones not associated with a registered, attending school.
