ThesCon Covid-19 Policies
First update, September 24, 2021
The Colorado Convention Center is currently following guidelines from the City and County of Denver that masking in large gatherings is strongly recommended for vaccinated individuals and required for unvaccinated individuals. The City and County of Denver also states: “All individuals ages 2 and older in Denver must wear a face covering that covers the nose and mouth when indoors at all schools and school-based extracurricular activities regardless of vaccination status. The face covering requirement applies to students, teachers, staff, and visitors at all public and private schools (preschool through grade 12).”
Students attending ThesCon will be required to wear a mask when not performing in the Individual Event or Mainstage portions of the event. Proof of vaccination or negative Covid tests will not be collected by Colorado Thespians and is left up to the individual school and district to determine if students should attend. Please encourage all students and adults who are feeling sick to stay home . No refunds will be given to conference participants who cannot attend conference due to illness, or schools or school districts cancelling participation in the event.
Thank you for helping keep each other safe and curb the spread of Covid 19.
