Butler Theatre practice / production-based BA program with declarable emphases in Acting, Directing, Music Theatre, Design, Dramaturgy, or a general theatre multi-emphasis major, may be a good fit for you. Our faculty of professional theatre artists offers a comprehensive program that spans Shakespeare to Social Justice and Diversity oriented work, new work, Devised theatre. First-year students are eligible for mainstage casting in the first semester. Minors, secondary major and study abroad programs not only possible but encouraged. We also offer a Theater Arts Administration degree in whose majors are full theater majors and Arts admin majors, a program that interacts with the Lacey School of Business. Our unique Summer intensive at the Moscow Art Theatre School is open to all theatre majors, and other study programs include intensives in NYC and London, and internships including the Indiana Shakespeare Company.
